Manchester United fans send Ole Gunnar Solskjaer captaincy message

Manchester United fans have indicated they would like to see Harry Maguire as the club's permanent captain. Ashley Young is the current captain of the Red Devils, though David de Gea and Harry Maguire also have worn the armband in some games, when the captain was missing. During the 3 - 1 win over Brighton Harry Maguire was the fixture's captain. After the clash the United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has referred to Maguire as " a long-term" leader for the club. The Red Devils supporters are in Solskjaer's side and see the midfielder at the role of the captain, according to MEN's poll. 50 per cent of the fans have chosen Maguire, while 27 per cent were on David de Gea's side. 22 per cent have chosen "other" category. Repyling to the poll, one fan said: "Maguire. Leader, central position, good communicator and perfect age." Meanwhile, another fan supported David de Gea:"De Gea is the best candidate for the captaincy in the club, this man has seen us throughout hard times and the best way to congratulate him is by making him the permanent captain, he deserves it."
