Manchester United face plenty of concerns ahead of West Brom visit

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is concerned over the fitness of Marcus Rashford ahead of Manchester United’s welcoming of West Brom to Old Trafford on Saturday evening. Rashford withdrew from international duty with England last week after suffering a shoulder injury in the win over Everton last time out. Elsewhere, boss Solskjaer has one or two other injury and coronavirus concerns; Luke Shaw is out for at least the next month, while Phil Jones is out and Eric Bailly and Jesse Lingard are both doubts as they recover from their respective knocks. Alex Telles has once again tested positive for Covid-19 while away on international duty with Brazil. Neither Mason Greenwood (England U21s) or Anthony Martial (France) have enjoyed particularly seamless international breaks, either; Greenwood has been struggling with illness and niggles, as claimed by his Three Lions boss Aidy Boothroyd, while Martial has been training alone in France and was an unused substitute in the win over Sweden on Tuesday evening. Edinson Cavani is primed to come into the side. Swedish centre half Victor Lindelof, who was taken off after 66 minutes in the above game, has been suffering a back complaint for some time, too. This could mean that head coach Solskjaer is left with minimal defensive resources if none of his 50-50 shots pull through. Source- BirminghamLive Join us on Telegram
