Manchester United dealt injury blow but duo return to training ahead of Juventus trip

Romelu Lukaku looks set to miss Manchester United’s Champions League trip to Juventus but Marouane Fellaini and Antonio Valencia trained today ahead of the game. The Belgian international is still being assessed by medical staff to determine the full extent of the injury but it seems the striker is certain to miss the clash. United held an open training session in front of the media on Tuesday morning and according to ESPN journalist Rob Dawson, Lukaku wasn’t involved with the rest of the first team squad at Carrington. https://twitter.com/RobDawsonESPN/status/1059764119170179072   However, there was more positive news on Fellaini as the midfielder was able to take part in the training session as he looks to return having missed the last five matches with a groin injury that he sustained while away with the Belgian squad during last months international break. In what could be a double boost for United, Valencia was also back in full training this morning as he bids to overcome a muscle injury that kept him out of the trip to the South Coast at the weekend.
