Manchester United consider £28m transfer bid for the "new Matic"

Manchester United have eyed Valencia midfielder Uros Racic for the summer transfer window, according to reports. The 22-year-old has spent the last season on loan at Famalicao in Portugal, recording three goals and an assist in 33 appearances in all competitions. He made his debut for the Spanish club as they beat Levante 4 -2 in their La Liga opener on Sunday. The Sun claims that Red Devils are considering a bid for the "new Nemanja Matic", who has a £92m release clause in his contract. However, it is reported that £28m "might be enough" to secure the Serbian's transfer to Old Trafford. Racic could become Paul Pogba's replacement at United if the Frenchman decides to leave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
