Manchester United chiefs make decision on Dean Henderson’s future

Manchester United will refuse to sell goalkeeper Dean Henderson this summer, but are willing to send him out on loan again. Henderson has enjoyed a flatware season on loan at Sheffield United – playing a key role in one of the best defences in the Premier League. Only league leaders Liverpool have conceded fewer goals than Chris Wilder’s side. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans to keep faith in David De Gea next season and Henderson has no plans as serving as an understudy to the Spaniard. According to ESPN, viewing him as a long-term replacement for De Gea – he will be allowed out on loan. A return to Bramall lane is a possibility but there is interest from other top-flight clubs, too. Henderson's current deal expires in 2022. Source: Metro
