Manchester United chief Ed Woodward holds meeting with agents over Gabriel Magalhaes transfer

Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has held talks with the agents of Gabriel Magalhaes. The Red Devils confirmed their interest to sign the defender, who is set to become a partner for Harry Maguire. The Lille star is currently one of the most wanted players. According to Mohamed Bouhafsi of French outlet RMC Sport, United have met with the entourage of Gabriel in England. He tweeted: "Agents of #Gabriel have met the leaders of Manchester United in England. For the moment no concrete offer in Lille but discussions. Everton and especially Naples are there too. A 4th club has entered the file. The player / agents reflect." Lille would look for around £27million to let the defender go. He fits the profile United are looking for in that he's left-footed and likes to play out from the back. However, Everton, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain are also in the hunt though. Source: Express
