Manchester United board regrets giving away Mkhitaryan for Sanchez

Manchester United’s board reportedly regrets signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal. Sanchez was linked to Manchester City, but in the end he moved to Old Trafford in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan. However, the Chile international have scored just once in seven appearances since he moved to the United. According to some reports, some members of United’s board have told Premier League executives that they regret signing Sanchez for three reasons. The first reason - the player would have been much cheaper had they secured his signature in the summer . The second reason – Sanchez’s enormous salary. The third reason – His age. Despite Chile international has a lot to offer, he is already 29, which means he is at the peak of his playing career.
