Manchester United are prepared to offer £1.5million a year to youngster Angel Gomes. The 19-year-old's contract at United expires on June 30.
Gomes is yet to agree terms on a new deal after rejecting an offer of £20,000 a week in January. With his future in the air, United have put together a new offer in a bid to convince him to stay at the club.
According to the Telegraph, United offered him a new deal worth almost £30,000 a week, with bonuses for appearances. Gomes is already thought to be on £17,000 a week.
Gomes has been linked with Chelsea. It has been claimed, that the 19-year-old midfielder has recruited super-agent Pini Zahavi who is understood to have held talks with Blues transfer chief Marina Granovskaia.
