Manchester United announce 23-man squad for the Champions League game against RB Leipzig

Manchester United are preparing to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League final group stage game on Tuesday, December 8. The Red Devils are currently leading the group, however, they have the same amount of points as PSG and RB Leipzig.

Ahead of the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have announced the 23-man squad.

David De Gea and Luke Shaw will be with the squad, meanwhile, Solskjaer confirmed Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani will not be making the trip.

“David De Gea is travelling, Luke Shaw is travelling,” Solskjaer said.

“Edinson and Anthony only minor niggles, but won’t be making the trip.”

Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Dean Henderson, Lee Grant.

Defenders: Eric Bailly, Tim Fosu-Mensah, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Alex Telles, Axel Tuanzebe, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Brandon Williams.

Midfielders: Bruno Fernandes, Daniel James, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek.

Forwards: Odion Ighalo, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford.
