Manchester United academy player promoted as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez for UCL match with Juventus

18-year-old Tahith Chong, who is considered to be Manchester United’s most exciting academy player, has impressed on the club’s tour to the United Stated and has been promoted by Mourinho as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has been struggling since his move to Old Trafford and in United recent training he wasn’t seen among other players. Chong scored twice in United’s 3-0 win against Sunderland’s U23s on Friday and has been rewarded with a call-up to first team training. On Tuesday Manchester United will host Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford for the second time since his move to Real Madrid.
