Manchester City's stance on Harry Kane and Erling Haaland transfer revealed

Manchester City have long been linked with a move for a striker, with both Harry Kane and Erling Haaland heavily inked. Even after thrashing Leeds United 7-0 City's main priority for 2022 remains a striker, as per Manchester Evening News. Pep Guardiola's side will no doubt look again at a possible Kane deal, but in summer when the possibility of Haaland being in the frame raises its head. As Haaland's release clause is expected to kick in next year, reportedly making him available for around £68million, the City-supporting Norway star becomes a highly attractive alternative to the Blues.
