Manchester City's potential starting XI for Premier League opener against Wolves

Manchester City will start their Premier League campaign against Wolves, on the weekend of September 19-20. Pep Guardiola has already signed Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres and he is expected to sign another centre-back. If Torres settles quickly he could well make his debut. But he faces competition from Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva. Foden and Silva meanwhile will compete with each other for the place left by David Silva. Kyle Walker has made the right-back position his own, Aymeric Laporte is already earned a place at centre-back. If City do sign Koulibaly, he will take the problem position which has passed between Nicolas Otamendi, Fernandinho, John Stones and Eric Garcia.
