Manchester City's Phil Foden names Manchester United striker as best finisher he's seen

Manchester City youngster Phil Foden has named Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood as the best natural finisher he has worked with,  despite training alongside Sergio Aguero. Foden has enjoyed a breakthrough season as he has repaid Pep Guardiola with some impressive performances when given extended game time with City. Foden is yet to be called up to the senior team, but is capped at under-21 level - and that is where he looked when choosing the best finisher he has seen. “Mason Greenwood is the best I’ve seen finishing wise,” Foden said. “He’s both-footed in and around the box. He’s always going to score. It’s just the right type of shot — he just knows when to finesse or lace it. The keeper’s never stable or set.” Foden and Greenwood received under-21 calls at a similar time last season, and both needed little time to adapt to the step up. Source: MEN
