Manchester City win transfer battle to land record-breaking wonderkid

Manchester City have reportedly won the race to sign Juventus wonderkid Pablo Moreno. Moreno joined Juventus from Barcelona's La Masia academy as a 16-year-old. Moreno is set to leave the Serie A giants with Marca reporting that Manchester City have beaten Barcelona to the signing of Moreno. City are paying €10m (9.1m) for the striker and the move will be made official by Tuesday. The medical will take place on Monday with Felix Correia moving to Juventus having spent the campaign on loan at Dutch club AZ Alkmaar. Correia has made 23 appearances for Alkmaar’s U21 side, netting three goals and laying on five assists this season. Moreno may also go out on loan next season with City having a partnership with Girona and previously sending players on loan. Source: Daily Star
