Manchester City fans want the club to prioritise the signing of a new attacker in the January transfer window. This football season has led to an increase of injuries throughout the Premier League and City have felt brunt more than most. The scheduled fixture with Everton had to be postponed due to three more Blues players testing positive for COVID-19 following the announcement of Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker's positive tests on Christmas Day. The January transfer window will soon open wide which will give City the chance to reinforce their squad. M.E.N. Sport asked supporters: "What position should City strengthen in January if they're only to sign one player?" The overwhelming winner with 85.7 per cent of the 1,533 votes was 'Attack', with 7.6pc opting for 'Midfield.' Only 4.8pc of voters opted for 'Defence', while the remaining 1.8pc chose 'Other.'
