Manchester City could offer Bernardo Silva in a proposed deal for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish this summer. Pep Guardiola is determined to bolster his squad following the Champions League disappointment with Grealish, who he has made as a top target alongside Tottenham’s superstar Harry Kane.
According to ESPN, Guardiola believes that Phil Foden and Grealish could strike a partnership that could dominate the Premier League for the next five years. Grealish managed 26 appearances in England’s top tier, and he found the net six times whilst providing 12 assists.
However, he won’t come cheap, and City are looking to raise funds with sales of: Jack Harrison, Lucas Nmecha, Yangel Herrera, Pedro Porro, and they will be entitled to a small fortune should Jadon Sancho leave Borussia Dortmund. But that may not be enough, and Silva – who wanted to leave last summer – has attracted interest.
Atletico Madrid, according to The Times, have a concrete interest in the Portuguese midfielder, however, they hope to offer Saul Niguez was a makeweight for the deal.
