Manchester City are set to face a difficult problem in January when two of his goalkeepers jet off for international duty.
In both South and North Americas the World Cup qualifying has not finished yet, with an international window scheduled in January for CONMEBOL and CONCACAF fixtures.
For City it means that their Brazilian and USA players are likely to be called up for international duty during that period. Both Ederson and Zack Steffen will be chosen to represent their countries in January.
With a possible FA Cup tie on the cards, City will be left with only two goalkeepers at the club, the most senior of which will be Scott Carson.
Ciaran Slicker - Under-23’s regular - who has been involved in first-team training this year – will be Pep Guardiola’s other option.
