Manchester City plotting transfer for Spanish wonderkid

Manchester City are keeping an eye on Sporting Gijon starlet Pelayo Morilla. The 17-year-old’s contract at El Molinon still has 18 months to run, but Pep Guardiola’s side have sent scouts to watch the play and taste their resolve with a January bid. Pelayo scored his first goal in the 2-1 Copa del Rey win at Numancia back in September and has been capped by Spain at youth level.
