Manchester City are planning a sensational move for Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix, potentially offering Bernardo Silva as part of a player-plus-cash deal, according to Eurosport. The 21-year-old, who joined Atleti from Benfica for a staggering £113 million in 2019, has scored 19 goals in 79 appearances for the Spanish side, and is currently representing Portugal at Euro 2020. Silva could be used to tempt Atletico into agreeing to sell his fellow countryman. City reportedly open to the idea of selling the midfielder this summer to fund moves for Erling Haaland and Harry Kane. It is believed that Silva is the most likely big-name to depart the Etihad this summer. While City may be interested in Felix, it appears that Kane and Haaland remain their priorities.
