Manchester City under investigation by FA over Jadon Sancho transfer

Manchester City are set to be investigated by the FA over the deal to sign Jadon Sancho, who joined City from Watford as a14-year-old and has grown up to become a Borussia Dortmund sensation. The FA are looking into allegations made by German newspaper Der Spiegel that City paid Sancho’s agent Emeka Obasi £200,000 for bringing the winger to the Etihad. The FA bans clubs from incentivizing moves for players under the age of 16. A FA spokesman told The Times: “We can confirm that we will be investigating the allegations.”
