Manchester City fans send players selection message to Pep Guardiola after Champions League draw

Manchester City fans don't want to see Nicolas Otamendi and Fernandinho in central defence after the club's Champions League 1 - 1 draw with Shkhtar Donetsk. Pep Guardiola's side managed to book their place in the last-16 as a Group C leaders. However, the club boss has made some changes in defence, with Otamendi replacing John Stones and Angelino playing in order to allow Benjamin Mendy a rest. The City fans didn't like Guardiola's selection and has sent a clear message that they want to see the central partnership changed for the upcoming Premier League match against Newcastle on Saturday. MEN Sport asked fans on Twitter who should start at the back during Newcastle fixture. 61 per cent voted for the option "Stones and Fernandinho", 29 per cent wanted to see Fernandinho given a rest, while 10 per cent see Otamendi and Fernandinho continue together.
