Manchester City fans send Pep Guardiola selection message ahead of Manchester derby

Manchester City fans want to see Riyad Mahrez starting for Manchester derby on Saturday. City came back to their usual form after the Champions League 1 - 1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk and fell 11 points behind the Premer league leader Liverpool after the 2 - 2 draw with Newcastle United. After their 4 - 1 win over Burnley on Tuesday, the Blues hope to have a successful game with their neighbours Manchester United at Old Trafford. The Citizens' fans have revealed they want to see Mahrez on an action for this game. The Algerian scored for the Blues the fourth goal of Tuesday's match. MEN Sports asked City fans: "After scoring again against Burnley last night, should Riyad Mahrez start in the Manchester derby?" 48 per cent of the voters said he should start, but that Bernardo Silva should change his position into the midfield instead of David Silva, who started the last two games and could give way for the upcoming derby. 40 per cent think Mahrez shouldn't be in the starting squad, while 13 per cent said he should replace Bernardo in the side. One fan saw no need to make any changes, saying: "Same team. First time we have look cohesive for a while keep them together." Meanwhile, others would like to see Bernardo and Mahrez starting together. One fan said: "Riyad Mahrez must start and Bernardo can play in the middle" while another added: "I think they should start together."
