Manchester City fans make claim about Liverpool Premier League title amid coronavirus outbreak

Manchester City fans have made a claim about Liverpool's title challenge as Premier League season has been suspended due to coronavirus outbreak. Jurgen Klopp's side are just two victories away from winning the Premier League trophy for the first time since 1990. However, English league has been called off until at least April 4 and could eventually be pushed back further due to the coronavirus, which is expected to reach its peak in late May. There is also the potential that the 2019/20 campaign will be cancelled and that Liverpool will not win their 19th domestic league trophy. Meantime, some Manchester City fans are actually insisting that Liverpool should be handed the title whatever happens and even if the league campaign is not finished.

This won't be popular.. Cancel the season, all results are as of now, how they stand, we're over half way and @LFC are clear winners, promotion and relegation also happens as of now, we can't be seen as being spiteful, hateful bad losers.. Just my opinion so don't bite me #MCFC

Well said. I'm also an #MCFC supporter. The title should go to Liverpool. Best team by far this season, well deserved. Voiding would be ridiculous. If the season must end early, let's give #LFC the trophy now. Exceptional times shouldn't eclipse an exceptional team.
