Manchester City in contact with Bayer Leverkusen’s rising star

Manchester City have become the latest club to be interested in Bayer Leverkusen’s rising star Kai Havertz, according to Sport Bild. The 19-year-old has become a regular player for the team since 2016 when he broke into the Bundesliga club’s first team. Pep Guardiola’s side have been keeping a close eye on the Havertz and were in contact with his representatives. However, Havertz only signed a new four-year deal in July and is unlikely to leave for anything less than £70m.
