Manchester City chairman knows Pep Guardiola will quit if success stalls

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has told chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak he’ll leave the club if his revolution goes wrong. City handed Liverpool an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League table after defeating to Wolves at Etihad. The City manager discussed his relationship with owner Khaldoon in a new book, ‘Pep’s City: The  Making  of a Superteam’. "He knows I’d step aside if things weren’t going to plan," Guardiola says in the book, according to The Sun . “I’ll give everything to avoid that and make every effort to move things forward. No coasting.”
