Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has responded Barcelona links. The boss plans to stay at Etihad beyond this season-if the club still wants him. Speculation over the Spaniard’s future is mounting with his contract at City set to expire at the end of the 2020/21 campaign. Victor Font, the frontrunner to be the next Barcelona president, has expressed his ambition to take Guardiola back to the Spanish club. When asked about the Barca links, Guardiola said at a press conference ahead of Saturday’s trip to Sheffield United: “I am incredibly happy here. “I’m delighted to be in Manchester and I hope I can do a good job this season to stay longer.” Until he signs a new contract, however, the talk over Guardiola’s future is unlikely to go away.
