Manchester City blow Tottenham and Barcelona in chase for  £61M youngster

Manchester City are believed to won the race for Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong, despite the Dutchman have been linked with Barcelona and Tottenham, according to the Mirror. De Jong's release clause is believed to be  £61M which is the reason both clubs have dropped oit of the hunt for the youngster. His mobility on and off the ball make him a perfect fit for Pep Guardiola who will look to seal his signing in the summer. The 21-years-old is believed to be impressed with how Guardiola has improved other young talents such as Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane at City and would like to play under him in the Premier League.
