Manchester City ace wants talks with Pep Guardiola about his future

Nicolas Otamendi wants talks with Manchester City boss PepGuardiola about his future at Etihad. Otamendi only signed a new deal in the summer and won a place in the end-of-season PFA Team of the year. However, the 30-year-old has lost his place in the starting Xi and has featured just seven times this season. The Argentine international, who pulled out of international duty this week with an Achilles problem, didn’t even make the squad for last week’s derby and Guardiola has asked him to be patient. Otamendi joined City from Valencia in 2015 for £28.5million - racking up 144 games in the process.
