Manchester United are desperate to sign Eduardo Camavinga and have made him the top priority after the arrival of Jadon Sancho is confirmed. However, United may have to look elsewhere for their midfield target after Rennes slapped a huge asking price on Camavinga. The Frenchman has become a top target as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues his spending spree. The French club are demanding £85m for his services - a huge total - especially considering that this is a similar fee to that of Sancho. Saul Niguez is one of them. United have long had an interest in the Atletico Madrid midfielder but after signing an extraordinary nine-year contract in 2017, any transfer talk was dead in the water. Declan Rice has gone from strength to strength at West Ham, where he has become a fan’s favourite in midfield. His performances have not gone unnoticed by those at Old Trafford. Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma but United could muscle in and offer higher wages. The Mali international has already told the Seagulls he would like a move to a bigger club and if a big offer is made, Graham Potter might not be able to say no. Wilfried Ndidi is among the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League on his day and United could do with someone that fits those attributes. The Foxes would not let the former Genk star go so easily, though, and could command a mammoth fee - which has worked in the past over Harry Maguire and Ben Chilwell.
