Maldini, Rivaldo, Cafu, Roberto Karlos and Batistuta to arrive Armenia to play the Legends match

Worldwide  football stars such as Maldini, Rivaldo, Cafu, Roberto Karlos and Batistuta will enjoy World Cup 2018 in Armenia. The main reason of their visit is the ‘Legends match’ which will take place on July 8 in Yerevan – the capital of Armenia. South American Champions and European Champions will decide which continent is better. FC Pyunik owner Artur Soghomonyan and commentator Nobel Arustamyan are talking about upcoming match. "Since the match organized on Khoren Oganesyan’s honour in 2015 both players and Armenians have still the warmest memories as it was a good celebration. We had a wish to repeat the same and not no allow that to be the last one. Of course, we couldn’t ignore the World Cup 2018 in Russia and decided to use the event and bring it to Armenia at least for 3 days. During those days Armenia will become a part of World Cup with its fan zones coordinated with FIFA and with all necessary documents. We all hope that people from Yerevan and all over Armenia will feel the holiday. "There is always a controversy whether Europe or South America is stronger. We are not going to give an answer to this question on June 8 in Yerevan. We just hope that the holiday will be as warm as it’s always used to be in Armenia. "There’re great number of players who expressed a wish to play in the match. I can point out the names of those players with whom we already have a contract: Cafu, Rivaldo, Batistuta, Crespo, Dida, Zamorano, Cordoba and Serginho. "From Europe we’ll meet players such as Maldini, Djorkaeff, Stoichkov, Giggs, Albertini. We’re waiting for Matthaus, Puyol, and Totti’s answer. Talks with Roberto Carlos and Kaka are on hold. All of them are greatest football stars and many of them are World champions who will be welcomed in Armenia for the first time."
