Lyon president BREAKS SILENCE and speaks out on Moussa Dembele future amid Chelsea interest

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that the club's top scorer Moussa Dembele won’t leave Ligue 1 side.  French international, who has joined Olympique from Celtic in 2018, has scored 10 goals in 18 matches and is third in the race for Ligue 1 top-scorer. He’s only behind Wissam Ben-Yedder (Monaco) and Kyllian Mbappe (Paris-Saint Germain). As reported earlier, Chelsea was the most active among the clubs interested in signing ex-Fulham striker. Frank Lampard is looking for a second forward, who could compete with Tammy Abraham and score goals.  Currently, Chelsea head coach has three strikers, including Abraham, Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi, but it is Tammy that scores most of the goals. Aulas has confirmed that there has been offers for Dembele, but insisted he will not leave Lyon.  Here is what the president has said (via Football London): "Moussa Dembele will not leave because he wants to stay to win something with Lyon," he said. "There have been offers for him and for other players but none of those that we want to keep will leave in January." "We will only do deals that correspond with what our sporting director, board members and manager want." Aulas has added.
