England head coach Gareth Southgate has recently revealed his 26-man traveling squad for World Cup 2022.
Kalvin Phillips, who spent most of his time on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury since joining Manchester City and was a major doubt to making his way to Qatar, surprisingly secured his spot on Southgate's list.
The Three Lions have already arrived in Qatar and already held a training session in Doha this morning.
The former Leeds United star is there with the squad after recovering from injury in time to complete his World Cup dream.
Furthermore, Phillips took over his Instagram account to share that the team complete their first training session this morning, in comments, meanwhile, his ex-mate Luke Ayling sent an encouraging message.
"Looking well Phil" wrote the 31-year-old.
