Lucas Torreira speaks out on Mesut Ozil amid claims Arsenal star could leave

Mesut Ozil has been at the center of attention during the transfer window as the Arsenal midfielder is being linked with a move. Earlier it has been reported that the Gunners are short of funds this January, and it appears Emery has looked at Ozil’s £350,000-a-week salary as something that can be cut from the wage bill. Several Chinese and Serie A clubs have shown interest in Mesut Ozil including Juventus and Inter Milan. Lucas Torreira has spoken out on Mesut Ozil's situation saying that he is really motivated to be playing alongside Mesut Ozil.  (via Mirror) "I'm really motivated to be a part of this team and I want to continue growing as part of this squad, which I think is a very good one. "It's incredible really to be able to be in the same squad as a player like Mesut Ozil and obviously other players too, players that have achieved a lot and have great quality. It makes me proud. "I'm happy to be able to be in the same squad, and I try to learn from them when I'm on the pitch. It's about gelling and trying to enjoy myself on the field of play so that fans have something to shout about."
