Lucas Perez's Arsenal future in the hands of Arsenal new coach

Lucas Perez has just completed a season-long loan spell at former club Deportivo La Coruna where he netted nine goals in 37 appearances across all competitions. Despite the sales of Alexcis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, and Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window, Lucas still has fierce competition for a starting berth next season. However, Lucas Perez’s agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has stated that no decision on the Spaniard's future will be made until they've spoken to the new man in charge. “What will happen? Lucas has a two-year contract with Arsenal, for now only this can be answered,” he said. “The club has never put him on the market, it was the player who decided to move at the end of the last summer market. "He was sorry to be on the bench, not to be called into the action.” “First we will know Arsenal’s plans, it is still too early to know what will happen.” Last week Fernandez did reveal that Lazio are interested in signing Lucas and revealed the forward would be open to the idea of moving to Italy in the summer. "Lazio asked for him last year, but nothing came of it," Fernandez told Lalaziosiamonoi. "Lucas has always liked Lazio and the city of Rome, plus his great friend, Luis Alberto, plays for them. "As for Lucas, he likes the idea of playing for Lazio, but it’s still too early to talk about it."
