The Netherlands head coach Louis van Gaal has issued a two-word verdict on Arsenal summer signing Martin Odegaard after World Cup qualifier against Norway.
Gunners have finally materialised a £30million permanent move for the Norway midfielder after his impressive loan spell last season.
And former Manchester United boss van Gaal thinks Odegaard is a "fantastic passer".
Speaking with
VG after the Netherlands' 1-1 draw with Norway, van Gaal said:
"They (Norway) have a fantastic striker, Haaland, and they have a fantastic passer, Odegaard."
Odegaard showed his passing ability in Arsenal's only win of the season so far - a 6-0 thumping of West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup - where he played a one-two with Bukayo Saka, using his backheel to find the England star, who netted in style.
