Lothar Matthaus believes Manuel Neuer is set to leave Bayern Munich. Chelsea reportedly plotting a move for the goalkeeper in the summer transfer window. Neuer, 34, has entered into the final 18 months of his deal and talks over an extension have standstill, which has put Frank Lampard on red alert. "I can understand his desire for security and a long contract very well but five years is also a long time," Matthaus told Sky Deutschland. "He should not forget how loyal FC Bayern was to him in every phase. For both sides, it would be wonderful if Manuel stays a few years more.
