Lorius Karius speaks out on his future

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has spoken out on his future. German goalkeeper, who joined Merseyside club in 2016 from Mainz 05, played for Turkish side Besiktas last season on loan terms and is now looking for a new club. "This season, through my agent, two clubs in the UK, three clubs from Germany, made offers." 26-year-old told Turkish media outlet Sporx (via LiverpoolECHO). "I turned them down. Besiktas is very special for me." he's added. Karius's career gone worse after his devastating mistakes during the Champions League final against Real Madrid in 2018, when he let Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale score easy goals and win 13th title for Real Madrid. Liverpool immediately took action and bought Alisson Becker from Roma to make Brazilian star one of the most expensive goalkeepers in the history. Alisson proved his class from the very first match of the last season and won Golden Glove award due to his 21 clean sheets. Becker also played fantastic during the Champions League final against Tottenham to prevent Spurs from scoring a goal and letting Liverpool lift 6th trophy in the history. Karius meanwhile, had a season to forget in Turkish league, as he struggled to come back mentally after his mistakes. He will now look for a new venue to restart his career. Source - LiverpoolECHO
