Loris Karius wants FIFA to take action against Besiktas as loan club fail to pay wages for four months

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has demanded FIFA take action against Besiktas having not been paid by his loan club for four months. As reported by the Liverpool Echo, Karius has filed a complaint with FIFA over Besiktas’ failure to pay his salary, as the club did not meet a deadline the shot-stopper set to pay him what he is due. According to reports, Besiktas have already tried to get Karius off their books with an approach to Liverpool to exchange the goalkeeper for striker Divock Origi in a bizarre loan swap. The club’s manager Senol Gunes hit out at Karius last week after making a mistake in Sunday’s 3-2 defeat of Konyaspor. “He was at fault for the goals he conceded,” said Gunes said. “Karius has gone a bit stagnant, something is wrong with his electricity, motivation, enthusiasm for the game. “It has been like that since the beginning. He does not really feel a part of the team, it’s something we haven’t been able to work out and, of course, I am partly to blame for this. “Something is wrong, he has also been unlucky. [He] is talented but it hasn’t worked out and we have a problem. Let me put it this way, if I still had Tolga available I would play him.”
