Mesut Ozil answers the criticism over his meeting with Turkey president Recep Erdogan

Mesut Ozil was under a strong criticism by German media and German fans during World Cup 2018. Arsenal star had a meeting with Turkey president Recep Erdogan earlier this year and was accused by Germans. Some famous people even demanded Joachim Low to leave him and Ilkay Gundogan, another player who also mete Erdogan, out of World Cup squad. The criticism was increased after Bundesteam didn’t manage to pass the group stage, when they lost two matches of 3 possible against Mexico and South Korea. Ozil was also criticised for his lazy style of play.
