Liverpool's Nike kit deal terms as Reds win New Balance court case

Liverpool have won their court case with New Balance after a row over the manufacturing of their kit. The Champions League winners have a contract with the company until the end of the season, however, were dragged through the legal system after agreeing to terms on a deal with Nike. New Balance argued that they triggered but the Reds counter-argued that New Balance had not replicated the terms put forward by Nike. The deal with Nike sees them earn an initial £30 million per season. The decision at London's Commercial Court on Friday ruled in favour of Liverpool, who are now free to fulfil their arrangement with Nike at the expiry of their New Balance deal.
