Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez got injured during the second leg of Champions League semi-finals. Merseyside club produced one of the historical comebacks against La Liga champions by humilliating them 4-0 after losing 0-3 at Camp Nou Stadium. Suarez, who left the pitch just after the final whistle, will undergo knee surgery on Thursday. Official statement says (via LiverpoolEHCO): "First team player Luis Suarez has undergone an arthroscopy on his right knee for an internal meniscal injury, by Dr Cugat and under the supervision of the club medical services. "The approximate time of recovery is between four and six weeks." Suarez is supposed to miss Copa America 2019, which will take place next month. Uruguay national team will start the tournament with the matches against Ecuador and Brazil respectively.
