Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey thinks Liverpool would still need to strengthen two positions during the January transfer window.
The Reds have announced about bringing RB Leipzig attacker Takumi Minamino to Anfield earlier this month. The Japanese forward is going to arrive at the English club, once the transfer windows open, having signed a £7.25m transfer deal.
However, Heskey believes Jurgen Klopp's side should still add a central striker and a winger to the squad in order to avoid any long-term problems.
He told the ECHO:
"I think they're pretty set for the rest of the season but I think they might need another striker and also a dynamic winger. If they were to lose Salah or Mane, they don't really have that dynamic winger like they're used to. If you look at City, they lose Sane, who is injured at the minute and they have Mahrez. If they lost him they've got (Bernardo) Silva so they always have someone as back up."
