Liverpool to offer Dejan Lovren to sign £90m-rated star

Liverpool are keen to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. They faced Koulibaly on four occasions in the last two seasons with Klopp’s side winning just once and scoring just twice. Napoli are holding out for a record-breaking fee for a defender - £90 million. It seems incredibly unlikely Liverpool will fork out that amount for a 29-year-old. However, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Liverpool are willing to offer Dejan Lovren as part of the deal. The Croatian has only made 10 appearances in the Premier League this season and is behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in the centre-back pecking order. Source: GMS
