Liverpool to offer £40m for forward they almost signed in January

Liverpool are reportedly prepared to bid £40 million for Ismaila Sarr, according to Transfer Market Web. The Senegalese player started the Premier League with Watford by scoring a goal against Aston Villa. Reports say, that Sarr is 'aware of the interest, even asked permission from the Hornets to leave the club.' However, the 23-year-old winger was so close to moving to Anfield back in January, with his agent confirming that contracts had been signed and they were looking for an apartment. His agent, Thierno Seydi, told Pan African Football.
“With Liverpool, a few days ago, we were at the stage of signing the contract to bind the Reds to Ismaila Sarr.   “Everything was set, the monthly salary and the length of the lease. I even asked Sadio Mane to find him an apartment.   “But in the end, the English club could not put €40 million on the table to finalise this case.”
Ismaila Sarr's move to Liverpool got cancelled as the Reds refused to pay €40million for him.   Source - anfieldcentral Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
