Liverpool tipped to sign promising Premier League talent who is ‘like Jack Grealish’

Alex Bruce has stated that he wouldn't be surprised if Norwich City's Todd Cantwell was playing his football at Liverpool next season. The former Hull City defender has compared the 21-year-old midfielder to Jack Grealish and James Maddison in his play-style. Cantwell has been a key performer for Norwich this season, scoring 6 goals in 24 appearances in a side that has struggled to bottom of the Premier League. Getty Images In an interview with Football Insider, when asked about Cantwell playing at Liverpool, Bruce said: “One thing that he (Cantwell) gives you is his ball carrying. “He is a little bit like Jack Grealish – that type of player. He plays with flair like a James Maddison. Of course, he has some way to go before he is at their levels but it is his first season in the Premier League and he has done OK. “He has caught people’s eye and everybody is talking about him. Cantwell is young, so he is definitely a prospect. It would not surprise me if a club like that takes a punt on him. If Norwich go down, it will be difficult to keep hold of him.”   Cantwell is reportedly attracting interest from the likes of Tottenham and Manchester United but Liverpool appear to be the early frontrunners.
