Liverpool targets in January transfer window as Reds look to ease injury crisis

Liverpool may need to add reinforcements to his squad sooner rather than later as they suffered an injury-hit start to the season. Joel Matip's latest injury has sidelined him for several weeks. With Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez still expected to miss much of the season, Klopp could now dip into the market to help ease the strain on his side. Ozan Kabak have long been linked with Liverpool in recent months. Klopp opted to stick with his options in the summer transfer window but now they are still interested in the 20-year-old. The German are reportedly requesting a fairly reasonable £22.5million for the youngster. Gleison Bremer is another player who Liverpool have been interested in. The 23-year-old has shown his class for Torino over the past two seasons. Liverpool's strongest competition appears to be coming from Merseyside rivals, Everton. Perr Schuurs is tall in stature and a strong player who impressed in the fixture between Ajax and Liverpool. He is still a little raw in terms of ability, but Liverpool may want to get in now before his price tag inevitably spirals. Sven Botman has started his career in Ajax's academy and the 20-year-old has been plying his trade at Lille this season following a £9million switch in the summer. They currently value Botman at £45m. Milan Skriniar has been linked with a move to Anfield. However, his move looks unlikely to happen anytime soon. Inter Milan want £54million in exchange for the Slovakian.
