Liverpool to support Karius, as German faces tough times at Besiktas
Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, currently playing for Turkish side Besiktas on loan deal, is having hard time, as it has been revealed that the club owes him 4-month-period wage.
German international has joined Besiktas last summer after a heartbreaking Champions League final against Real Madrid, where he made two devastating mistakes and “gifted” rivals two goals.
With the swoop for Alisson, Karius lost his place in starting lineup and decided to move to Turkish side, where he has 21 appearances in domestic league and 5 appearances in Europa League.
Liverpool have been shocked after the public criticism from Senol Gunes, Besiktas head coach, towards Karius.
Gunes said (via LiverpoolECHO): “He is talented but it hasn't worked out and we have a problem.”
