Liverpool still in race for €65m defender

Liverpool are still reportedly in the race for David Alaba and previous claims elsewhere were premature. According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid have not won the race for Alaba – yet, but they are favourites to sign him. However, Liverpool ‘remain in contention’ for the Austrian, who will leave Bayern Munich at the end of his contract this year. Alaba’s father has confirmed that nothing is settled in an interview with BILD. So, the Reds may still have a chance to sign David Alaba who is ‘still deliberating’ over his decision.
