Andy Robertson will reportedly face no charges from the FA after a rant at referee David Coote following Liverpool's draw with Burnley. After the final whistle, Robertson remonstrated to the referee about not being awarded a penalty - despite being impeded in the box by Johan Berg Gudmundsson.
Jurgen Klopp pulled the defender away from the official and asked questions of his own about what he saw as a lack of protection for goalkeeper Alisson at set-pieces.
The report confirms that Robertson won’t face any action from the FA for the incident because the ref didn’t include anything in his post-match report. That means he will face no further action, and so will escape the threat of a fine or ban.
