Liverpool star Adrian wants summer exit and sets retirement plans in Spain

Liverpool second goalkeeper Adrian has decided his future as he eyes a retirement switch to Spain. During his time with West Ham, the experienced goalie was constantly linked with a return to Real Betis. The 34-year-old came up through the ranks at the Spanish outfit before joining the Hammers in 2013. He moved to Anfield in 2019 and has made 24 appearances in all competitions for the Reds. His contract at Liverpool is set to end this summer, although there remains the possibility to extend it for another season. However, Fichajes, as cited by Sport Witness, claims that Adrian ‘will not continue at Liverpool’. He will reportedly sign a contract with Real Betis. If Adrian did return to his former employers, he would initially be back up to veteran stopper Claudio Bravo.
